Study hard and knock step 2 out of the park. USMLE Step 1 is the first national board exam all United States medical students must take before graduating medical school. I was going through a rough time (divorce+depression) when studying for Step 1 but decided to take it anyway and try my best. Oh you’re right I just saw the first table and assumed “General Principles of Foundational Science” was step 1 stuff but the second table makes it clear. Hi everyone I took the step 2 ck exam yesterday. ![]() I decided to take Step 3 before intern year for many reasons. ![]() Got my Step 2 score back recently and am elated. Step 1 score was 209, on 3rd year shelf exams I averaged around the 15th percentile for all of them and even failed one. If you took it Saturday or Sunday, it should be the 3rd Wednesday.
